Christmas

Christmas: My favorite tradition

If there exist something that I love, it must be Christmas!

In particular, I love winter, so in one hand, I love to feel cold, wear jackets and drink hot things, but in the other hand, It's time to forgive, to give presents and to be along with friends and family,  I just don't know, It is like the loveliest season of the year, obviously for me.

When the cold starts, It means that families have to choose one day of the week to build the tree and the crib, sometimes it takes more than a day, because people like to decorate all them houses by the outside and inside, and there are no short trees or little cribs, so, It should take also a week I think.

But, It doesn't stop here, women usually cook "Atole", "Tamales" and "Buñuelos" even the famous "Ponche" to enjoy while everybody is doing that things, those are typical mexican foods and drinks, of course, very very delicious!
That was after Christmas Ave, but, during it, all family members meet in one house for dinner, a huge one, it can also has an entry, then, the main course and finally a desert, while everyone is eating, they talk to each other, remembering funny memories and laughing about it, some people like to brake "Piñatas" that conatains candies inside, and is broken with a broom stick until 12 o' clock.
When is 12 o' clock everybody stands up and hug giving good wishes to each other, finally, those who want to play with fireworks leave the house, and that's It.For New Year party it also the same story...

Maybe I like Christmas beacuse my Birthday is on December 24th... Maybe!

Iguazu Falls

Iguazu Falls

Those Falls has place in the border of Argentina and Brasil, as a matter of fact Argentina is who has the 80% of the jumps and Brasil just have the lower part.

The Falls are just amazing, not to mention the long width that is has, incluiding the natural wealth, the lots of jumps and obviously the awesome view.

The highest jump is called "Garganta del diablo", in english "Devil's Throat", it has 80 metters height,!  CAN YOU IMAGINE THE VIEW?

I recently wanted to visit Iguazu Falls because I hearded someone's conversation and then I investigated about this place, it seems very beautiful and I really hope I can visit It some day.
Other place that I wish to know is Machu Picchu in Peru, I think it's just amazing walk through high mountains with a lot of plants and threes, I cannot imagine the view up there.

I hope one day I can know these places!

Sierra de Organos

Sierra de Organos

This is a national park very popular in Zacatecas, it has place in Sombrerete, the place where I come from, is special for the amazing form of its mountains.

Sierra de organos is very big, it has a lots of mountains with differents forms, it has a river too that only has stream if is the correct season, you can also find flora that is hard to find in other places, a lots of animals like alligators, birds, coyotes and even cougars in the deepest parts.

Actually some movie pictures and music videos had been filmed right there, for example "The caveman" with Ringo Star and "Una lagrima no basta" performed by Los Temerarios as a music video.

Sierra de Organos is a place where people can have field days, ,camping, cookouts or just fun. The best time to visit it is on summer, because the environment is good by the rains, you can also find it perfect to stay a complete weekend on its cottages.
In some parts of the world Sombrerete is known by the form of one rock, it is the cope, in spanish "La Copa". Also every mountain has name, some has faces, and human forms.
It's easy to imagine that someone made those mountains a long time ago, but the magic exist only if you believe that those have no creator, or just the awesomeness of God.

August 13th
Dear Ms. Chalmers;

My name is Jose Luis Aragon, I am studying Agrobiotechnology Engineering at Tec de Monterrey, I am from the State of Zacatecas and I transferred to Monterrey for my third semester.

In my role as an Engineer, i have to take courses about production in controlled environments, such as Greenhouses, Hydroponics and all things related to make better the agronomical production.
I decided to choose this major because since I was a child,   I always wanted to be an Agronomical Engineer, so, Tec de Monterrey offered Agrobiotechnology which is better in all aspects, I just took it with the help of my parents who have an Agronomical Shop in Zacatecas, that is why I fell in love with this degree.

Finally, I hope we will be able to have a good comunication between us.

Sincerely.
Jose L. Aragon
